{a little friend is visiting me!}

While some proud new parents are at a dance recital for another love I get this 5 day old munchkin all to myself.  I have no kids at home, or husband.  They have gone out and I get her all to myself.  She is so sweet.  I took a 4 minute photo session and this is what this angel gave me!  {insert a content sigh here}  I am lucky tonight!  After her 4 minutes of fame she got all bundled up and snugglie with me on the couch while I watch trashy reality TV shows~the ones I can't watch while my kids are in the room!  I just want to kiss her all up!  I love baby yawns and hers just happen to be the cutest ever!

Here are some pictures for mommy from this past Thursday!  Oh how sweet big brother was.  He never stopped smiling and he had the most beautiful skin.  Baby was celebrating her first birthday!  We of course had a "smash"!  Enjoy! {remember to click the pic to make it bigger}

OMG!  How cute was the recital!  Cambry was so cute!  I am off to do some stuff with relatives from Wisconsin so I thought I would leave you wil a picture of my precious!  She is hugging her pink ballerina trophy!  I love it!  I will post more in a bit!  We have been so swamped this past week and weekend.  She was so proud!

{baby Sienna}

I am so excited!  I got to go hang with baby Sienna and her Mommy this morning.  I even got to feed her!  {which I loved!}  I am so bummed though I only got about 2 minutes with my camera so I only got a few.  She was just about to feed, so we unwrapped her to wake her up and then she was done being chilly.  So we bundled back up and had a very yummy Similac Snack.  So since the Northerners couldn't come down I did a very quick edit so you could see your new tootsie!  enjoy!

{big girls don't cry}

WE DID IT!  Our first Dress Rehearsal and we didn't cry.  This little bit cries for just about everything.  Swim lessons, soccer, but not DANCE!  Thank god.  Something she enjoys!  She did her first dance, ran off and looked at me and said, "I never danced for 'alotta' people before," with a proud smile!  I am so excited.  Here are a few pics of my munchkin inside under yucky lights {making for blochy skin}, but she is still precious to me smeared red lipstick and all!  Note to future dancer moms: I brought Q-Tips and they were awesome.  I licked them and tried to clean up the edges a bit.  PS~ doesn't she look totally wierd without curly hair.  Some people didn't recognize her!

{crazies}

We have the crazies today.  We had lunch with Great Grandma and some Aunties.  Off to buy some bum swim goggles, then we had swim lessons.  Only to find out we needed our 4th pair of goggles in a week so off to Academy!  We rolled in at home at about 3:30 only to clean up, put Say Say down and regroup for Dance Dress Rehearsal at 5 pm.  In between now and then I am hoping to stop the hospital b/c my dear friend had a baby today!  Yeah for baby Sienna!  Since we are off to dance, here are some of the cutest pointed piggies I have ever seen!  A bit of Flashdance!  Off to pack dinner for my little ballerina.

{i am an aunt~sort of anyway}

Yeah!  Perry and PJ had their first Dr. apt. today to see the baby cakes.  Perry is due between January 9th & 17th!  {FYI: They got married January 10, 2009.}  They think it looks like a gingerbread boy.  Cambry was so perplexed by this picture, she couldn't quite get it!  {sorry my smudging isn't very tidy, figured it didn't matter}

One last post today...

I got a rad Canon D10 point and shoot for my husband's birthday.  It is Canon's new waterproof camera.  It is reasonable at about $300 and it takes really great pics.  These are all untouched.  I don't see a reason to slave over editing them when the file size is smaller and lets face it they are just for fun.

If you get one: Get the biggest memory card you can get!  Also, Google "floating camera straps" so it doesn't sink!  I think I paid $10 or $15 for my bright orange wrist strap.  {The floating camera strap is key for my clumsy husband.  We have had many phone causalities while fishing!  That is why I bought him a camera so he doesn't take my nice one to the dock and drop it in too!}
